Review your accessibility statement
This is our standard wording. Please read it, or have your own counsel review it, and tell us to approve or change it.
Stroud & Valero wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control, or larger text.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the guidelines most widely used for accessible websites.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are
- Text and buttons are designed to stand out clearly against their backgrounds
- Photos have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- Pages are organized with clear headings, so screen-reader users can move through them easily
- Forms have visible labels and plain-language error messages
- Moving images and background video stop when your device asks for reduced motion, and background video has no sound
- Text can be enlarged up to 200 percent without losing content
- Each time this website is updated, its pages are checked automatically for common accessibility problems
Known limits
Some parts of this website come from other services, such as maps, the spam check on our forms, and documents we link to. We choose services that support accessibility, but we don't control all of their content.
